Hi.  Welcome to my site!  This site is dedicated to my lifelong passion for technology.

It started for me back in the 80s with the Apple 2, Commodore 64, and TRS-80.  My parents used to ground me by taking away my 1200 baud modem.  I remember my first x86 computer.  My uncle Ron showed me NASA images on his 286 and sold me on the graphics.  I got a loan for around $3,000 and went home with a shiny new 286.  Ah, those were the days…

I still have my Commodore in a display case.  But, I’d rather “play” on my Dell PowerEdge 6850 running ESXi or iBuyPower i7 gaming machine with solid state drive.  I’ve got a slew of Operating Systems including; Suse, CentOS, Ubuntu, Windows 7, Windows XP, and others.

Oh, and I like building robots.  I use PIC Microchip microcontrollers with MeLab’s PicBasic Pro software and custom designed circuit boards. Here is picture of “Bender 2”.
